		<description>Diana,
My Dad recently told me a frustrating story about a trip to Washington D.C. However, the airlines saved the day for him.
He was working as a Police Chief for the Dept. of Veteran Affairs in Gainesville Florida. He had worked all day and was required to attend an important meeting in D.C the following morning. He decided to drive and asked one of his
employees ride up with him to help with the drive.
As they left Gainesville, my Dad asked the employee to drive the first leg of the trip so he could get some sleep.
My Dad comfirmed the route, which was to drive north on
I-95, then east on I-10 to Jacksonville where they would take I-95 North.
My Dad got to sleep and woke up to daylight. His driver was
cruising along and looked proud of the fact that he drove all night. As my Dad stretched, has noticed a sign for
Slidel, Louisianna!!!!
My Dad asked in a panic, what they were doing in Louisianna. The driver told him that he figured that
Jacksonville should be close.
My Dad had the driver take him to the New Orleans airport
and he got a flight to D.C.
Dad told me that he should have taking a flight in the first place.
My Dad kept rollin!</description>

		<description>Diana,
It is hard to keep rollin when faced with airlines, for sure. When I get down, I always try to also think of the blessings. When I was in K.C. the other day, driving in rush hour traffic for an early meeting in Olathe, I remembered quickly how lucky I am not to have to do that anymore. I also remembered how lucky I am to be in the country the first night in my hotel room when sirens woke me at least twice. One was an ambulance surely rushing to nearby St. Luke's, so that made me also thankful for my health.
I picked up a mug while visiting KC last week. It reads: My Journey Begins Today.
It reminds me to Keep Rollin!
